The Smith Family Camping Trip

We finally were able to go camping with Jenny's family. We were all happy to see Mom, Dad & Grandma Mikits there. Hopefully we can get out more with them.

Michelle's niece from Washington stayed the summer with her. Looks like she is Michelle's apprentice.

Reed climbing out of the pool for the hundredth time, just to jump back in. He has finally learned to love the swimming pool like his sisters.
Bear Lake
The next week we spent some time at Bear Lake. The Paulsen family was kind enough to let us tag along at their family reunion. Unfortunately we had to leave mid-week to attend Mark's Uncle Bob's funeral, but it was worth the trip going up. We had to pull the kids off the beach every night. The girls are already asking when we are going back. Sarah & Melissa want to give a special thanks to Dave for the (not so) scary stories each night.
Reed was so cold he shivered for 30 min after he got out of the lake, but that didn't stop him from going right back in. He loved to grab the sand under the water.

Jenny, Hi it's Lana. I got your blog off of Amy's. It looks like you have had a REALLY fun summer! Such cute pictures and so many fun activities.
I am going to miss you SO much. I am so happy for you, but I am sad you have to go. You have been such a good friend to me and I feel so blessed to have known you. Thank you so much for being so wonderful to me and I hope we can stay in touch. Someday we need to get that game night in that we said we would......after you have settled in. :)
